Hi! I’m a writer, editor, and educator specializing in publications and programs for children and young adults. I’ve published several books with Penguin Young Readers, Whalen Book Works, and Cider Mill Press. I also write educational materials for a variety of outlets.

In addition to my freelance work, I'm a content strategist at Bloom Works, where I work on making digital services more equitable and accessible. I was previously the managing editor of the Family Resource Center at the Child Mind Institute, a collection of over 1,000 evidence-based articles on children’s mental health and learning disorders. I’ve also worked as a writing consultant at the Columbia University School of Social Work, a volunteer mentor with Girls Write Now, and a writing tutor for children and teenagers. I received a Master’s of Social Work from New York University and a BA in Literary Arts and Education Policy from Brown University, and I love to work on projects that fall at the intersection of those fields.

I live in Brooklyn but grew up in Vermont, so you might see me wandering the city in search of pine trees, mourning doves, caterpillars, or whatever other bits of nature I can find. I also love singing with my choir, baking bread, and dreaming about the animal sanctuary I’ll open someday.
